I was surprised that I was able to see the drawing through the primer. On another canvas, I put a thin layer of the primer over my sketch. Applying oil paint was much easier and blending seemed to be enhanced.
The primer dried overnight and was ready to paint on the next day. It came out smoother and whitener – a great base on which to paint. I was pleasantly surprised once I put a layer of primer on my canvas.
